Side plaits help!! 😝

My hair is slightly layered (not as much as it was) and it is hard to do a side plait. It also doesn't stay at the back of my head if you know what I mean. Are there any tips for doing a side plait?? I want it to look quite volumized as well an not just flat on my head...  :)

Use bobby pins and hairspray to help it hold.

My hair was the same way! I would pull it over to one side, then pin some of the shorter layers against my head before I do the braid. Sometimes they would fall out during the course of the day, but all you can really do is embrace the messy look :)
