Liquid, in my opinion, looks the best. It looks so classy and pretty. I get it can be hard to apply though! You just have to find the right one. Stila's Stay All Day felt tip pen eyeliner is so easy! it was my first liquid and I've never struggled with liquid liner.
Pencil and powder is of course the easiest. These come in a variety of colors but don't quite have the "punch" liquid liners do. Good for every day though!
Gel used to be my favorite before a started liquid. It stays longer than pencil and has more intensity but doesn't look as "glossy" as liquid. I'd say use this is pencil is too easy and boring you, but you aren't ready for liquid yet!

Gel is definitely my favorite and the easiest to apply in my opinion! The matte finish is also classy and elegant :)

Liquid gives the best finish, I'd say. it's super black, & you can get really fine points with it.
Gel liner is my personal favorite. it's easier for me to apply & I can still get a nice fine point when I do winged liner.
Pencils are my second favorite. I use them for lots of things like natural looks, adding colour in precise areas on the eye, smokey eyes, etc.
I actually haven't used a powder before to line my eyes, only to set my gel liner, lol.

It all depends on the look I'm going for and where I'm applying it. I can only apply liquid liner on my lid. Pencil I prefer for a more smudgey/ softer look. Overall gel wins because I can use it everywhere for everything

Gel is great too, easier to apply, I just don't like using a brush. Best I've tried is $3 Essence gel liner. 4

Powder eyeliner? Like black eyeshadow? Ahah mine will never stay on my oily lids so 2.

I love liquid on top of my eyelids but prefer pencil for my water line or a gel one with an angled brush to give more precision, they're both really good and it's really personal preference on what you feel works best for you:)

I agree with what Laura said- gel looks so good in the waterline! You can't put liquid, and it looks so much more intense than pencil!
