I have a decent makeup collection of my own, but I am wondering, do MUA's have a completely different kit for work & your personal use?

Most do. They should, anyway. For your kit you need different shades of foundation and concealer and you need disposable applicators for mascara. However, using a certain eyeshadow randomly is alright. I hope this helped! :)

I know a few girls who freelance randomly as they are getting their clientele built up, they do this and just purchase things as they need them for jobs so eventually they will have a full separate kit. Also a lot of brands have "pro discounts" some you have to pay a membership fee ie: MAC, Tarte, NYX. But it's totally worth it in the long run! :) make friends with the girls at ulta that helps too! <3 good luck sweetie! :)

www.camerareadycosmetics.com for pro-grade makeup. go to the websites of the makeup brands and it will provide you details about their pro membership. Inglot has them as well as MUFE.
