To Go To School Or Get Private Classes?

A MAC artist offered to give me private classes.
Everyone I know that has gone to a beauty school around me in NJ hasn't gone over a lot over Makeup application.

What should I do?

I would do private lessons, but not with a mac artist. Unless she has a successful freelance business of her own. You want someone who is very established in the industry who can not only teach you makeup techniques, but the ins and outs of the business. Makeup school is a waste of money imo
