I have really bad acne scars and I want to cover them but my makeup doesn't last very long and doesn't cover everything..can you guys give me some tips and help me out please :)

When trying to cover with concealer make sure to blend the edges of it only. Not really the top because it takes half the cover of the concealer off. I have problem with acne and acne scarring and I find this the best way to get maximum coverage.

If you have scars that are darker than your skintone then what you need to do is color correct them. Use an orange lipstick and mix it with your concealer. Use a little of the orange. And put a thin layer on the areas THEN apply concealer and this will cover it up perfectly! The second layer of concealer will cover up that orange/yellow tone. Then to REALLY set it you need translucent powder and a powder puff and just pat on a generous amount of powder then let it absorb the unnecessary oils and then use a big fluffy brush and dust off the excess powder. I highly recommend the MAC Studio Finish Concealer! It gives great coverage! The color correcting is quite important because putting on your regular color on darker skin will just make it look ashy or you'd end up having to put on tons more of concealer
