With darker skin I more vibrant red seems to really stick out and a darker, not super dark, but a baby pink is always cute on dark complexions! Some brands to try would be Mac of course. With their many colored lipsticks. What's great about Mac lipsticks is that you can go to a counter if you have one near and try out different shades if you don't have one near then I suggest doing some research on all different types of lip sticks. But a vibrant red and dull baby pink would be good basic shades!

I love corals but it's always fun to mix different shades and pigments. Experiment with layering different lipliners, glosses, lipsticks, and chapsticks for your perfect shades. Just remember to blot!

I mean it's a good idea to walk into Sephora, Ulta, MAC or wherever and just play as everyone has different preferences on what they like. A lipliner and a lipstick that you think you don't like can make a world of difference.

Maybe MAC Craving and Rimmel Kate Moss matte lipstick in 103 and 106. I really like 109 too (it's a coral colour though), and I think it might look good on your skintone as well :)
