Smudging lipstick help?!

Hi,

I need some major help, I'm pretty new to lipstick but I know what I'm looking for.
I urgently need a matte deep red lipstick that WILL NOT SMUDGE.
(Or feather, so bold edges)
Please can you help me out?
I need brand names and what you think, also, any advice on lipstick like this? Are there any tricks?

You can get away with drugstore mattes as long as you moisturize your lips and get me primed up first, and trace the edge with concealor after application.

Use a lip liner. I'm not sure of exact shades, but to try some out & see what you like I recommend milani & wet n wild lipsticks. good quality for under $5 :)

You can use a clear lip liner, maybelline does one for 6 dollars, and e.l.f has their lip lock pencil for 3(:

Russian red from Mac is one of my favourites. Use a lip liner maybe that will help. Also lip liner adds a really nice defined look.

Just use a lip liner before you out in lipstick and it should help with that
