Coppers, browns, golds, pinks, purples, plums, peach...I have blue eyes, & those are my fave shadows to wear. Plus, always wear eyeliner, I find that it makes my eyes stand out that much more. I always make my eyes the main attraction, lol & wear nothing on my lips but maybe a little gloss. I love the neutral lips look anyway, but my lips are so dry & flaky that lipstick looks terrible on me anyway.
I also sometimes (when I'm feeling daring, lol) wear a nude-ish tan or very light brown on my lid, with a little bit darker of a similar shade in the crease, then use a pretty teal eyeshadow or liner on my lower lash line for a pretty pop of color. I guess it depends on your skin color too, I'm VERY fair & have dark hair, so I can't really pull off a lot of bright colors without looking like a clown. I wish I could.
