I'm looking for a full coverage foundation to cover up these acne scars that just won't go away! I have pretty oily skin too. Anyone have any recommendations? I don't mind spending money on it I just want it to have full coverage and a matte finish. Thank!

For full coverage I'd suggest the Kat Von D foundation.

Kryolan makes great corrector that covers sooo well and you can use whatever foundation you already use.

I've seen transformations with the Kat Von D foundation when it comes to covering scars so I have to go with that one. A cheaper alternative is Revlon Colorstay.

I'd suggest getting a corrector. You put it on and it cancels our the color of your scars and then you continue with your normal foundation routine :)

Definitely try colour correcting them first- I can't tell you what colour because I'm not sure what colour your scars are.
Most full coverage foundations will patch around raised scars, but if they're not raised (or even if they are) you don't NEED a super full coverage foundation because essentially all you need to do is change the colour. If you have oily skin I definitely suggest cover girl 3 in 1 or tarte Amazonian clay
And for dry skin I like MUFE HD or garnier bb
They all have high coverage but they're not super full coverage (which no one really needs) and will not look fake or gather on your scars

Estée Lauder double wear is amazing its so full but you only need a small amount to full cover even the darkest of scars.

I smelled and swatched the Double Wear on my hand and it smelled like MAC Studio fix fluid that breaks me out and oxidizes on my skin pretty bad. Is the double wear similar to MAC fix fluid? I know Estée Lauder is the parent company of MAC which is why I'm asking.

Everything you said reminded me of my Revlon Colorstay, covers acne scars/hyper-pigmentation, matte finish, the formula is made for combination/oily skin, full to medium buildable coverage, wears for 24 hrs and looks awesome the whole time, about $10 at Walmart, my HG :)
