I use Benzoil Peroxide every single night and have never complaint about it! You just need to put a moisturizer on afterwards so your skin doesn't dry out! I've been using it for about a year now!

Tea tree oil is natural so is a much better option but it can still be harsh so dilute in water

Yes, it is.
I read from Kitty today that tea tree oil is a better alternative to benzoyl peroxide, so I'd definitely go with that! (:

And I have sensitive skin.
Hope that helped!
Ice never used tea tree oil before so I don't know! And remember that everyone's skin type is different so it works differently for everyone.
I have sensitive skin.

I'm not sure my bottle just says Benzoil Peroxide. And you shouldn't use it in the morning. I use it as a mask when I'm in the shower every night ;)

And I also spot treat my pimples and sleep with the BP on my face when I get pimples :$

I've used both before, and the tea tree oil dried out my skin so bad! But also took quicker effect than the benzoyl peroxide did.
I alternate between both but for you I'd try tea tree oil first & be sure to keep a good moisturizer! :)

I tried proactive about 3 times and BP is their main ingredient. anything I use with BP in it. causes an immediate allergic reaction. the sensitive skin around my eyes itches like crazy and get swollen and red. that's even if I say, put it on my chin, it doesn't matter how far away it is. I love tea tree oil on the other hand! lol.

I know it does sound like it would hurt and I would have terribly dry skin but it doesn't! Since I've done this I barely ever have acne! After I get out of the shower I also put Sea Breeze on my face!

Maybe I'll ask my doctor about it.

So I know you didn't ask about this certain product but it's worth mentioning- have you ever thought about using sulfur? I know that sounds like a crazy harsh chemical but it doesn't dry out the skin any more than BP or tea tree oil. I use it in a powder form (Kate Somerville's EradiKate) and it truly is the best spot treatment. Every single kind of blemish dried out and gone overnight. It's worth stopping by Sephora and asking for a sample. It's a miracle product.

Your welcome and I'll give it a whorl if my doctor lets me lol! I mean if I don't hurt from the BP like most people then I'm hoping that I'll be ok with it :)!

Tea tree oil is definitely a much safer alternative. You can dilute it with water or another oil so that you don't dry out.
I use sulfur.. it's my go to. It's less expensive than tea tree oil though so I'm not understanding? It's about 3 bucks..

Tea Tree Oil has antibacterial properties which is good for your skin.
I really don't recommend BP, but maybe that's because I'm highly allergic to it. It permanently damages your skin making it hard for skin cell renewal and it's also used as a bleach.
