Got it!
From what I see I'm guessing that it's called a French braided side messy bun. That's just my guess though. Not exactly sure what the exact name is.
I have long hair as well and what I do when I do this hairstyle is once I run out of strands to braid into the French braid I just keep braiding till I get to the ends. Then I tie it with an elastic and make it into a bun then put bobby pins to secure.
If what you want is for it to go all the way around your head that would be called a crown braid and what you do is when your done with the braid you would tuck it under the French braid and bobby pin it so it's secure and no one can see it.
Hope that makes sense lol!
Are there any other questions about it if you didn't get what I said or if I didn't answer your question?!

Thanks for answering! I don't want to go all the way around my head though I would just like it on the bottom half on my head should I just braid it all and fold it back and pin it to my French braid?

The 2 pics you posted are crown braids and would usually go all the way around your head but you don't have to put it all the way around if you don't want to!
And you can just fold it back and pin it if you would like or you can French braid both left and right sides of your hair, bring it to the back and bobby pin it either into a bun or you can cross each other over one another and bobby pin them to the opposite sides and if you still have hair cross them over each other again and bobby pin it behind your ear if that makes sense :?

I'm sorry the first pic is a crown braid and the second one you will need a headband. It's a Greek/boho hairstyle.
What you do is put the headband over your head so it's like on your forehead. Then you will grab the strand closest to your face and put it over and then under the headband. Then you add another strand of hair to the strand that you looped over and under your headband and just keep repeating the same steps until you get to the back of your head ( repeat on the left side). Then you just grab the leftover hair in the back and just keep looping it over and under the headband until you run out of hair and bobby pin into place.
Hope that also makes sense!
