I have naturally frizzy, curly ,thick, coarse hair, I can't wear it naturally to school because its too big and frizzy even with taming products on it. So I straighten, blow dry my hair a lot. I wash my hair 2/1 times a week as it takes time to get greasy. I've noticed a lot of split ends which I have cut off. I've started to let my hair air dry then straighten it. It lasts about three days before I have to straighten it again. But split ends are stopping my hair from growing as they just snap off. has anyone any tips or advice?

Sounds like you need to focus on hydrating your hair. Try a hair mask or a leave in on the ends. If you use the hair mask, do it during your shower, and if you use the leave in, put it in immediately after your shower.

Like Hannah said, hydrate your hair. when you use heat always use a heat protectant. try some no heat hairstyles to give your hair a break. you probably have a lot of split ends due to using so much heat as well. you could also think about getting your hair thinned out or layers so it's not so thick & hard to manage. I have thick curly hair too & used to get it thinned. I recently got layers & it looks a lot better with them. much less poofy.
