Feeling a bit out of place.

So I went shopping the other day. I tried. It was cold and I didn't have much money so I decided to walk into H&M and I surprised myself not liking anything. I mean, NOTHING!
My problem is not that I find garments ugly, but that I've discovered that dressing in a cute girly way makes me feel vulnerable and I hate it.
Do you beautylistas happen to have any idea how to look like a woman but still be assertive? I mean no bows or hearts or cute little lace tops?

I never dress girly I'm not into hearts or bows either I love my cross scarf combat boots and studded bag but I think adding pops of color and accessories soften the look and keep me from looking like a old biker lady.lol.

I believe that there a few KEYS to a real woman. Confidence in who they are, to dress with confidence, compassion for yourself and others, and to have class. Classic designs are not difficult to find or achieve. I think the world of fashion nowadays makes it difficult but that doesn't mean that you have to fall victim to it just to feel comfortable or to look and feel like a woman. Embrace your curves, your cheekbones, embellish showoff what you really love ab you!! Clothes and makeup are there to accentuate the woman inside. :)

I must admit I'm versatile.. One day I'm rocking my tims and the next day I'm rocking a flower. Not all women garments are girly. I suggest you shopping at new stores outside of your normal stores.. Also get fashion magazine...

@Sabrina, those are good ideas. First outfit with jeans, I guess I could pull it off. @Traci, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the biker look. I'd be a thousand I'd be more comfortable in one of those. @Amanda, I understand what you mean I have all that, but I lack class lol! Not class maybe style. It's really hard for me to be versatile. Actually if it was not for compassion for my husband I'm pretty sure I'd look like the girl with the dragon tattoo!! @Delight, I'm going to take your word and explore a little more to see if I can find some other store that might feel my expectations.
