A good primer and setting spray can make all the difference. Also be sure to pick the right foundation that matches your skin perfectly to avoid the awful neck/face difference. Good luck!

Blending is key. There should be no line where one color ends and another begins, for natural looks. Some looks are ment to be dramatic so that rule doesnt apply. (:

Thou shall not use other people's makeup (due to germs) and Thou shall not let others use your makeup (same reason/germs). Don't over do it with blush, always do light strokes & blend out the color so its not too harsh. And most importantly: Don't ever let yourself go broke over makeup. Buy what you love, use it up before you buy anymore ;-)
