I bought a black skater skirt and I'm wondering what kind of outfits I could make with it? is there anything I should avoid?

Tight pastel or light coloured crop tops, thick long sleeved sweaters, just long sleeved tshirts, over the knee socks, short sleeved tee with a sweater :)

People lately have been into putting black nylons underneath then over the knee black/grey socks over on top with maybe combat boots or doc martins and then a graphic tshirt with a comfy sweater.
