So I've been using my clairisonic since I got it on Christmas. My face was pretty clear maybe a few small breakouts in sight. Ever since I strayed using it my face has gotten CRAZY!! Did this happen for anyone else? what should I do? How often should I use it?
Help!!

YES! I broke out so bad when I started to use it, but I realized for me it wasn't the actually clairsonic, it was the face wags it came with. Do not use that. It dried out my face as well. Just try to keep your face moisturized!

I didn't get breakouts but my skin used to be super soft like a babies and now it feels like there are little crevice/pores all over my skin. It isn't noticeable but it is to me, especially when I apply face makeup.

Just keep using it, it's called the purging phase, the Clarisonic is just getting rid of all the extra dirt that's deep in your pores,it will clear up in a week or two and your skin will be perf :)

Yeah but how long is this purging phase? it's been about a month and it's not getting any better 😥

The purging cycle should at most last around 26-28 days because that's how long the skin cell cycle is. I got mine, had an awful experience with it and stopped using it. My skin has cleared up but I still have scars! It's possible you could be over exfoliating so try it every other day and see if that helps!

Do you clean the brush head? You should clean them often and change it every 3 months.

Their website recommends antibacterial soap and that's what I use, but I'm sure you could use your regular makeup brush cleaners (as long as it's antibacterial).

The brush head you are using is more than likely too harsh. This happened to me, so I switched to the delicate brush and I use my clarisonic only once a week. This has helped me a lot. for now...get the delicate brush and lay off using it everyday.

Basically the clarisonic is so strong that your over washing by using it everyday. so please just get the delicate brush head and limit the use of it.
