What you want, to keep your hair healthy, is a shampoo that's sodium laurel sulfate/sodium laureth sulfate and sodium chloride free. I highly recommend the L'oreal EverStrong line! They smell nice, foam well, make my hair feel very clean and smooth, and reduce knotting and tangling :)

Tresemme is sooooo good at adding moisture and de-tangling... not sure about their shampoo ( I don't really shampoo ) but their conditioner ( or the one I have ) is sulfate free!
I actually got the L'oreal one - I'm not very impressed with it but I'm giving it a week to see if it does any difference.
