I try and I try but I can never get my eyeliner even! one eye will look great and the other I can't match! I've tried every kind of eyeliner and I like gel or pencil the best.

I like to start by making dotted lines , then fill in between the the dots.

If ever I do winged liner, I keep makeup remover q tips on hand so that I can easily correct any mistakes. I'd also suggest using tape to guide your lines.

Just do the eyeliner all over your eye, except the wing. Then you do the rest of your makeup. When you're finished, simply draw on a thin line and fill it in. That works great for me :-)

And then you'll get the really clean and sharp finish, and it won't dull out because of powder etc :-)

Use you pencil as a rough draft them go over it with gel. I personally don't go by steps, I've been doing it for the last 5 years. The best way is to start with a thin line then building it little by little. That way you don't mess up as much
