Personally I don't think you have to go with natural looks as long as you are doing the right red and eyeshadow colors. For prom, I'm doing a bold smokey like this, with dark red lips.

Agreed with Lisa, you don't have to do neutral eyes with bold lips, as long as you make sure your eye look doesn't look bad with the lippe! This is lovely!

Something very neutral. If you are going bold in one place you should go suddle on others also high winged liner.

I rarely ever go subtle when I wear a red lip. Pretty much anything goes! I've even worn a purple smokey eye with a red lip, and I loved it.

I would consider golds and browns as well. Or just stay in the neutrals. Because the lip is so dramatic you don't want to overdue it with the eyes.

I actually love a dramatic eye with a red lip. don't always need a neutral eye for a bold lip.

I'm with Lizz I like a neutral eye with a bold red lip. Reminds me of old Hollywood Glamour.
