I agree that it's absolutely ridiculous and pointless...but I don't think someone is a jerk for buying it. If they have the money, but skip out on buying it, the $6500 wouldn't automatically be donated to a charity. It would probably be spent on Tom Ford perfume and their hundredth designer purse. In terms of needs, the Foreo Luna is probably not at the top of the list. So on the premise that spending money on something you don't need, while people are starving and suffering in the world, makes you a jerk, isn't that hypocritical? I'm not saying you're a jerk or that the regular Foreo Luna isn't an awesome investment, because I'm sure it is. My point is just that most of us are provided with much more than our basic needs, and whether you're rich or middle class or somewhere in between, very few people will forego certain luxuries (even simple things like Bubble Bath and face wash that our nice to have but not essential) in order to give every spare cent to people in need. If $200 seems like a reasonable price for your budget, then - although absurd - $6500 may seem acceptable for someone else's budget - that money isn't going to a good place anyway, so what does it matter? I don't know if this made sense because I'm exhausted, but I hope I got my point across (and without offending anyone at that).

Also, I technically live in a third world country, and I see and hear about a lot of poverty and tragedy on a daily basis. That's what I'm saying Mariam. All they did was add a gold and platinum base and it's supposed to be for all skin types. Whereas the traditional luna is individualized for each skin type (which I actually prefer)
