I have thick curly hair & got a fringe because I was tired of my side part. you just have to blow dry the fringe straight & use a straightener if it's not the exact way you want it :)

Curly hair and fringe are anti each other for sure, the fringe poofs up and for 3 weeks after the cut you most definitely have no option but to straighten the fringe hair or blow dry otherwise it looks like you walked out of someone's nightmare. I would recommend that if you absolutely must get the fringe, part your hair in the middle and get some hair towards the front of your forehead into a fringe and not all the hair at the crown of your head. This way, if you don't like the fringe, you would have less hair to worry about or pin up.

It literally takes about 5 minutes to blow dry them straight. they don't get poofy. I've gone without straightening them & just had my middle part. they did the normal curls. also you can just pin the bangs back with bobby pins & they'll dry straight :) I used to do that all the time.
