I have bought a high waisted skirt from areo but it is really cold outside. I want to wear it really bad though. How do I make it more warm?

Tights, layer them if you need, a sweater/shirt and a coat, scarf, hat, boots, gloves or anything you need to keep warm and a pair of boots :)

Add a cropped sweater. Add tights and/or long socks. Add a cute coat. Add a scarf. You are good to go!

Ah! I love skirts I have too many, just because its cold doesn't mean you can't wear them. When I wear them I ALWAYS wear pantyhose, most likely black but thats just me, thigh high or knee high socks are an option, with a pair of boots. You can simply wear a nice warm cardigan with it or an open jacket, scarfs and beanies really look pretty too :)
