Actually...indie is another word for bohemian. Think Coachella. Hipster is the style that's basically "I liked that before it was cool." Think big "nerd glasses," plaid shirts, skinny jeans, beanies...iPhones haha.

Actually they are synonymous. Hipsters have an indie style. They value individualistic style, aren't fans of mainstream pop culture, and have progressive thinking. It's not just fashion, it's a lifestyle.They tend to be more creative and appreciative of art. Not always though. Basically, anyone who calls themselves indie or hipster isn't actually that lol
