I just attempted my first smokey eye today so I don't know how helpful I will be lol. I think a brown eye could pull off any color because it's neutral. you can definitely use a Kohl pencil and smudge that to create a smokey effect. make sure you highlight your brow bone for contrast. the more you blend the softer the look will be.

Ask Isabel M if you can find her :) she's good at soft smokey eyes. Otherwise, try drawing a thick line with kohl pencil and smudging it over your lid. You can then apply shadow over it, like black to make it really smokey, or grey or brown to blend the edges and make it appear softer.

I use a beige color on my lid, and then a bronze color in my crease, and brown color in the outer corner of my eye. and blend it out with a big fluffy brush. I use tge naked 1 pallet in the colors virgin, buck, and hustle or smog.

I usually use a bronze/beige color in my crease and a pinkish bronzy color on my eye lid and I leave it at that.. first I use a blending brush on my crease. use small circular motions on the corner of your eye crease and go across your crease back and forth like a windshield wiper to have a nice smokey eye. if you want it a soft smokey eye then just do what I said then at night if you want a darker look to it then just add a dark gray and a small pointed brush and do a "V" type shape on the side of your eye and blend it out.. hope this helped

There is no such thing as a Soft smokey eye, or a natural smokey eye and there is No V shape on the side of your eye with smokey eye style.I think some are getting smokey eye confused with the gradient style and just plain basic eye shadow style.Smokey eye is always Dark fade to light and who ever is spreading the light or natural smokey eye theory is sadly mistaking shadow styles.
