Not a stupid question at all. Yes, green shadow can absolutely go with blue eyes. It won't enhance the blue the way browns will, but it still looks lovely.

Green is my favorite color and I have blue eyes so I wear it a lot. there are no rules with color, wear what you like. Today I'm wearing a deep green shadow as liner.
