I'm going on vacation soon and I want a new makeup routine that is quick and easy! If you can please let me know what would be best to use in summer and what has great coverage and is easy!
If you have any recommendations in any of these categories also let me know!

For foundation and stuff like I would just do what you normally do. Then just work on your eyes. Just do eyeliner on the top and on half your bottom water line. You don't have to have eyeshadow but you can if you want. Then put on the mascara you use. Doesn't take me that long and here is what it looks like.

If you want something super quick and easy I would recommend a bb cream/tinted moisturizer, a travel size mascara, and a colored lip/cheek stain. Also a liquid liner pen if you have space/want liner.
I did a quick makeup routine when I went to visit my family for the holidays... but it was cold there instead of summertime, but I would probably use the same stuff, but pack a mattifying powder instead of my foundation powder.
I used:
-a sample sized primer from my IPSY subscription
-sonia kashuk tinted moisturizer (I found it buildable on places I needed a little extra coverage)
-stila waterproof liquid liner pen
-travel size better than sex mascara from too faced (though a travel size of your favorite mascara will do)
-urban decay brow box (my brows seriously need filling), otherwise I would recommend a small tube of brow mousse or just leaving them alone
*you can also just take a clear mascara and use it for your lashes and brows perhaps
-kat von d powder foundation, but I would just swap this for a mattifying pressed powder in the summertime such as urban decay's de-slick pressed powder
-I brought a travel size tube of UD setting spray or you could even buy empty travel size spray bottles from a drug store and put a little bit of your own setting spray in it, if the bottle is too large and you don't want to spend extra money on a travel size version
-I brought a couple of lip colors that doubled as a blush (applied with fingers) when I wanted to wear blush. I brought Revlon's Just Bitten Lip Stains in 2 different colors as well as my favorite UD Lipsticks. I brought a couple different lip liner pens since they took up less space and by choosing different lip liners, I could alter the color of the lipstick when I wanted to.
**the great thing about bringing the products I did was the fact that I only needed a brush for my brow powder (it came with one, but I prefered using a different one) and my pressed powder and other makeup already had an applicator!
-if you want blush and bronzer, I would recommend bringing them in a duo pack (elf has some), to save space and possibly a double ended brush or two elf brushes since they're cheap and you won't have to worry about losing them or anything.

If you're going to be swimming a lot, I suggest a tinted moisturizer/BB cream with at least SPF 15 (I really like Rimmel and Essence), and a waterproof mascara. That's what I did throughout my holiday in December if I felt like wearing makeup. If you want something a little bit more dressy, try filling in your brows, adding concealer for more coverage, an eyeshadow base to brighten and color correct your eyelids, a lip crayon, and a shimmery blush that adds color and highlights all in one.

For a waterproof liner look for something by stila, an for bb cream, go for the maybelline dream fresh. It has light coverage, and SPF in it. Also use a waterproof mascara. For lips, I suggest lip chaps such as; Burt's Bees, Eos, Blistex, etc.
