If you want to condition your eyelashes, use vaseline on your eyelashes at night. It is true that mascara isn't good for you, so try not to wear it whether you can.

Vaseline is 20 times worse for your eyes and eyelashes than mascara is. If you really feel the need to condition them, try a natural oil. The reason Vaseline is awful for you is because it is a sealer, which means that it will seal the glands on your eyes and eyelashes, and cause bacterial infections. Please, please do not use Vaseline on your eyes, no matter what anyone says.

Doesn't sound like it would do anything harmful. unless you get it in your eye or have some sort of reaction to it. but I still wouldn't do it you could try a natural oil that's safe for skin and hair instead.
