I plan on checking out a couple beauty books from my local library! I already have Bobbi Brown's makeup manual, Makeup is art and another older book by Bobbi brown! Any other helpful beauty books do you ladies recommend?

Kevyn Aucoin books are great. I have Making Faces and Face Forward. The Jemma Kidd book also isn't bad, but better if you like instructions as opposed to theories and techniques :)

I just did a search and my library doesn't have his books 😖 Urghhh. I read the Jenna kid book, and it wasn't as helpful as I though it would be. Though it did give me great info on technique! Maybe I'll give it another go?

I have read both the Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual & Kevyn Aucoin Making Faces and I absolutely ADORE them! I got both of mine off of Amazon. They sell them at select Barnes & Nobles and Borders too. Good luck and I hope you get them because I learned sooooooo much!

The teen vogue book isn't just makeup/beauty, it also has hair, modeling, photography, design, etc.
Most helpful to me are the Makeup Manual, and both Jemma Kidd books. 💗
If you can't see them in the picture or have any questions about the books, let me know!

Does anyone know of any books that tell the history of makeup and certain brands and what not?? I'm not looking for books on how to do makeup but more to learn about it.
