Thinking about doing this for New Year's Day but hesitant. First attempt at a smokey eye, didn't like it with my eye color but it's growing on me! Tips, opinions? Thank you!

I'd blend it just a teeny bit more, you can tell just a little bit where the two colors meet =) that's all. Looks amazing for your first try!!

Great shape! I would add a sparkly light color on the inner corner side of the eye, to bring it a bit of light :)

Its a good attempt at the smokey eye look dark fade to light which you have done.It's a dramatic eye shadow style that is always a dark color used to give the drama then fades out(Smoke Out). Adding a light color changes the ideal of the smokey eye which defeats the purpose of the smoke style so don't add a light color to the corner of your eye.
