I have acne scars n my skin it's uneven really looking to buy a good foundation that actually covers up! I used the Mac studio fix powder it's ok but doesn't cover up good, n falls off easily! Also do I need to put anything before the foundation?!? I used the garnier BB cream!

If you have acne I'd just use full coverage mineral powder. Like pur minerals 4 in 1 pressed powder.

i too have acne scars the are hard to cover, to what i do is use a face primer before applying my foundation. then i use my makeup forever concealer to hide the really dark spots. once thats on i use my mac foundation. make sure you get the pro longwear foundation though, that stuff does not budge! i have a hard time getting it off at night.

Laura mercier silk creme is amazing, expensive but its last ages! Revlon colourstay is pretty good too, mac mastermatch, double wear are all good. A bb cream isnt really going to cover them too well!

I did used foundation before but I switch to powder since my skin is oily n with the foundation it would get worse or look like I had to much make up on, but I want to try foundation for a good coverage, so should I put foundation first n then maybe loose powder to take the shine off?

I have gotten good results on scar coverage using Estée Lauder double wear.
If you would like to use liquid you can set it with a setting powder. I use rimmel stay matte. It works great for me. :)

Cover fx is really good, it covers pretty much anything and it has spf in it. If you look into the history of it, it was originally developed for burn victims. They have a wide range of products. Also it's a good idea to apply primer before your foundation and concealers, it ensures a good canvas!

I have a face FULL of acne scars. I use MAC Studio finish concealer first (because I have sooo much to cover). I then use Make Up Forever HD Foundation. I stipple the foundation because I don't want the strokes of a brush to wipe away the concealer where I've placed it. Set your foundation. Don't forget to prime and set. I get many compliments on my "skin." Hope you find your solution.

Illy j. I think that's what I'm have to go buy the concealer since I also have a lot to cover! I think I'm use Revlon for now since I think that's a little cheaper than the forever hd! Thank you!!

Have you ever Tried Vitamin E oil? I had surgery by my eye and had a big scar so i used Vitamin E oil every day and it helped fade it away hope that helps as a tip for you and I also use Sheer cover which really covers everything i also have freckles and when i want to hide them i use that.I would order sheer online but found they sell it at Bed Bath and Beyond and if i run out i use my Make up forever Concealer kit which is great to.hope this helps :)

Thank you!! You have no idea how I had always had problems trying to cover up the freaking scars!! I would put so much make up that my face would look like cake!! I still need to work on how to put on concealer n find a good concealer that I can put on my whole face but other than that I think I'm in love with Revlon foundation!!

I use cocoa butter everyday.it lightens acne scars.I haven't found anything to cover them tho.still looking for something but I don't like foundation.any suggestions??
