Do you all recommend washing my face in the morning, at night, or at both times of the day?

My dermatologist told me once and that's before bed, to get the makeup off. I don't have oily skin though. So in the morning I rinse my face and put coconut oil on and rinse it off. No soaps in the A.M. for me. & my face has been better then it ever has.

I was listening to the radio the other day and I'm not sure if it's true but apparently there's a study that found that washing your face in the morning isn't actually good for your skin since during the night your skin automatically repairs itself and renews skin cells and then in the morning if you wash your face you're disrupting your skins natural renewal cycle. It's recommended to splash cold water on your face and moisturize in the morning and then wash your face at night.

I do a thorough cleaning at night and splash enough water on my face in the morning to wash off the product from the night before, but I also prefer to doody my masks in the morning.
