I have been using makeup removal since August, and I feel that I've been breaking out more. It is oily, and I was wondering what I could do to prevent this:)

I love using my cleanser throughly instead of makeup removers, doesn't feel good on my skin.

Maybe look for one which isn't oil based :) xx

Maybe use cleansing wipes instead of the oily liquid.

I have a Clarisonic and I don't like using it to remove my makeup. I
use makeup wipes and then my Clarisonic because I want it to clean my face vs just using it to remove my makeup. If that made sense lol? If you don't have a Clarisonic then I recommend removing makeup and then washing face; if you are just removing your makeup without cleansing then that is probably causing you to break out because yes you removed makeup, but not the dirt and oils that are still trapped in your skin, also make sure you are following with a moisturizer

Make-up wipes can damage you acid mantle, a good one to go for if you've oily skin is a cleansing milk, gel, or lotion rather than a cream, and a toner containing witch hazel to finish (assume you don't have oily skin with sensitiviy in which case a toner without with hazel or alcohol would be more suitable) studied suitable make-up removers in college (Itec diploma level 5 year 1)
