I have naturally straight hair but I'm going to a party on Saturday and want to have it wavy/curly although when I spend about an hour curling it, it's straight again within half an hour! any tips on how to curl my hair and make it stay curly? usually I curl my hair using my ghd straighteners.

After creating each curl and pin curl it up. do this all over your head, while they are cooling do your makeup :) spray with hairspray then take them out. Don't be afraid of brushing them out and reforming the curls :)

I'm in show choir, and even if you don't know what that it, we are required to have huge gorgeous curls. Don't straighten it first, it will fall out. Also, don't hairspray it or your hair will burn to a crisp. After a shower, rub mousse through your hair and blow dry. Blow dry with your head down if you want volume. Then curl your hair with curlers or a curling iron (!) and spray after. And make sure that you hold your hairspray away from your head (like almost arms length) so that it doesn't get wet and crunchy and clumpy.
