I have been using this methid for about 6 months now and LOVE it. I have noticed less blackheads and breakout. I even use oils to remove my makeup too. So much easier to dissolve everything even waterproof mascara. Every two weeks I steam my face and then massage a mix of Jojoba , Castor and Tea Tree Oil to help draw all the bad junk out. If I have a few stubborn blackheads then I just take a warm wash cloth and gentle sqeeze them out. If you decide to try it , you will need to find the right combination of oils for your skin. It took around 3-4 trys to get my mix just right. I also use a mix of apple cider vinegar and water as a toner.

I have been using the OCM for quite some time now. It totally changed my skin. I have zero back heads now and my skin is soft and glowing now. I can't believe it took me so long to try it. What finally convinced me was reading about how "like dissolves like" - in other words if you want to dissolve and get out the hard sebum that blackheads are mainly composed of, regular cleanser just wasn't going to do it. I had suffered for all of my adult life with tiny, deep blackheads on both of my cheeks, they weren't even raised up, and were pinpoint small but they drove me batty. I also used to get dry patches some times and it looked horrid. I am very pleased with this method of cleaning my skin, and recommend it to lots of people, but I think a lot of people are nervous to actually put oil on their face. As long as you get non or low comediogenic oils then there really is no problem. I use a mixture or castor and sweet almond oils (about half and half but usually a smidge more sweet almond oil). And it is better than great for removing makeup. It makes easy work of removing even mascara and my false eyelash glue. I could go on and on... LOL

I'm always telling people that oils are ok on your face, as long as they are natural. Whenever I have someone with even the most sensitive skin remove their makeup with coconut oil they are always so surprised they didn't break out.

I want to try it but my skin even being 40 tends to be very oily. Just a little scared to give it try.

I use it regularly & I love it. It's kind of fun mixing up my own little potions.

I agree. I have such sensitive skin that even the products out there that are designed for sensitive skin I break out from. This method yas saved my skin this winter. No more dry patches...
