Helen of troy gold series curling is the best curling iron ever! its the kind everyone in my salon uses, its at sallys for around $30 but some months they do run coupons on them! and you're going to want a 3/4" size barrel, thats what I used when my hair was that length(:

I have a nume flat iron and love it my friend just got a nume wand and I tried it out.. I can use them on other people but when I use one on myself it turns out horrible! It's much easier when there is a clamp that's why I want a normal curling iron. I wish nume made a normal one I would be on that like white on rice.
