Heyyy…this may seem off topic, but today in school in my science class that some women can be allergic to nickel, gold or silver jewelry…is that true? Are some of you allergic to jewelry like that? I know, I know, I know, this is kinda crazy, but just wondering…

I'm allergic to all metals in my ears/piercings. Its really bad because I can have in a gold earing for a day but if the backing is any material, at all, it gets infected and swells ALOT.

Yes, people can be allergic to certain jewelry. It can also happen when people can only wear gold and silver earrings because plastic earrings make their ears infect.
