My New Years resolution was to use more color in my makeup, but so far no luck. Can you girls suggest any pretty colorful looks or tutorials I can look up? And palettes to use?

Ooh and I reccommend the 88 original palette by coastal scents and/or by cosmetics, and for darker bold colors I reccommend the wicked dreams palette by Nyx.

When ever I do color I will do a smokey purple, which other people showed, but I also use green mascara to really bring out the purple, I have hard candy and it not green, green, its a black with a tint and it complements the purple very well.

I love doing black winged liner then applying a bright colour (green I particular) along the bottom waterline for a subtle burst of color
