So I want to start wearing foundation on my face but I don't know how to choose the right shade. Do you have any techniques that helped you choose the right shade? Or should I try BB cream first? I'm totally new to this whole "makeup thing" and I'm clueless to everything so I would gladly appreciate any suggestions :)

When choosing a color always compare it to the shade on your arm/hand you want the shade to match and look like the rest of your body. Start off with a light coverage, it's a more natural look. Experiment with different foundations, try going to Mac and sephora, and get samples!😊💋💋

Thank you all so much! I would try Sephora as I've heard a lot about it but I don't think we have that here is Australia. Also thank you Jacqueline for that 'little' lesson about undertones and whatnot ;) hahahaha. But I honestly did not know any of that so thank you. Judging by that though, I think I'm in the neutral section but I'll double check with staff when I go to buy foundation :) Again, thank you all for your help! Xo.

Some people at makeup shops will help you choose the right colour, for example at the mac store they'll help you with colours and types:)
