Shadow stache. Weird

I have blonde mustache hairs that are otherwise no problem but when I put foundation on it makes a dark shadow stache on my face! I feel like I have to wax just for this reason, anyone else deal with this? What do you do? Just wax?

I think it's probably because your foundation is making the hairs stand up. Try 'painting' down in that area.
