I am super unhappy with my hair at the moment. I have thin/fine/curly hair. I don't like it curly or straight anymore. When it's straight it looks lifeless and just super thin. When I curl my hair I have to use volume spray ,mouse and all these products just for it to look like a full set of hair. A week ago I said I'm going back to curly ,going natural with no heat and all that good stuff. My curls used to be easy now it's a hassle just to get them curly. I don't really know what I'm asking for here maybe this is for a vent than advice :))

I go through this too, my hair is thick wavy n flat on top of my head, I feel like I don't like any way I style it, I'm going for a new cut next week , I feel like my hair has potential that is going wasted.

I have the same kinda hair. If you want it big you have to use mousse and a scrunch able hair spray and blow dry. For a natural look I'd use a curl enhancing cream or serum with mouse then air dry and scrunch a bit as it dries. our hair type does better with a blowout using a round brush and volumizing products rather than just a flat iron. The hardest part about styling Naturally curly fine hair is getting the hair up off the head because it can be kinda limp so I usually apply my products and take my finger in twirl around sections one at a time quickly to form the curls paying special attn to the strands around the crown. Pull them straight out and twist. Then turn your head over and blow dry (or not and just scrunch a lot) with a diffuser all over or a reg dryer focusing at the roots on low so that you don't break up the curls. Dry about 50-75% then flip back over reshape any crazies then spritz with a curl spray or a med hold pump hairspray. Scrunch a bit as it dries to loosen product. After I worked with such a range of hair types I've learned to love my hair. It's fairly easy to get it straight and keep it that way, it doesn't take hours to dry and it's pretty versatile. I would suggest layers for longer hair. I also found scrunching hair with a towel or old tshirt while wet and combed before product. I hope ANY of this help you! I feel your pain! Work that hair girl!

Looks like you need to boost your hair from within, please a dermatologist to get the right supplements and nutrients, no matter what you do superficially, your hair needs health not more chemicals. That will only make them more lifeless and fragile.

Get a real good hairdresser to give you a nice cut and that usually makes hair easier to style how you would like

I appreciate the advice lAdies thanks so much! @ Mary T. I used to love my hair because of the versatility. Like you said its easy to straighten and everything I do to my hair is pretty fast. After I had my daughter I lost a pretty good amount of hair and ever since my hair has not been the same. I'm probably just going to have to wait it out.
Thanks again everyone
