How do you apply apply an eyeshadow base?

Should I apply it with my finger? Does it only go on the lid or up to the brow bone? Thanks :)

I use my finger to apply it. you can use a brush (I prefer using my fingers with all cream based products) and you want to apply it wherever you'll be wearing shadow. I always wear it to my brow bone.

I use my fingers usually, & I usually do from the lash line all the way up to the brow bone (but I do a light layer)

Using fingers is a great option for cream based eyeshadows, you can use the warmth of your fingers to make it blend in better and you can also avoid applying it patchy.
