Does leave in conditioner work to make hair silkier.

I just bought some leave in conditioner, I haven't used it yet, but I want to know if it will make my hair seem softer or what's the purpose of it?

I use it when I'm wearing my natural curls. It prevents my hair from drying out and frizzing up. So, yes, it does soften. I don't like to use it if I'm using a flat iron, it tends to get stiff.

I can't live without my leave in conditioner! It makes my hair soft and shiny, healthy and stronger :)

It works for me. My hair sucks it up like a weed. If I don't I have frizzy curls.

I like leave in conditioner when I'm rocking a straight look because it weighs my thick curly hair down which I find useful when blowing straight. They add shine, continuous moisture (humectant), and some even offer heat protection like some shine serums. If you're a thin/fine hair beauty there are leave in conditioners that work the same with a lighter formula.
