Charcoal is great for your skin if you're greasy or acne prone, it pulls all the gunk out :) I've never tried that mask but it sounds pretty great!

I have tried it. It's alright, the consistency is a little strange. It's got the consistency of a scrub but you apply it like a mask first and it can be a bit hard/messy to spread. After you leave it on for a bit you use it like a scrub. I think it's really good as a scrub but I definitely prefer other charcoal masks for the actual mask function. I think this one can also be a bit overkill, as not everyone is going to need both a mask and a scrub at the same time so I think it has potential to irritate the skin if you're sensitive. But charcoal is good for the skin as are scrubs. Just make sure you're not overdoing it, and use moisturizer after. And if you want to splurge on a charcoal mask I recommend the one from Origins :) (or even the dead sea mask from the same brand as the one pictured, it's my favorite of theirs)

I love it. I use it as a scrub though as it is really grainy.leaves my skin so soft and when applying it gives a warming affect

Thanks for all of your input girls. I had heard that charcoal was good for your skin, but I could not remember if it was a credible source or not! so I tried this about an hour ago and Caitlin is right the consistency is pretty strange. But I love how soft and glowy my skin feels after using this product. I believe for the ladies that have not tried it yet should give it a shot. my skin is not too oily it's actually more on the dry side, but I get breakouts and this mask didn't dry my face out at all! Also for you ladies that do use this product how many times a week do you use it?

I use it two or three times a week n follow up with a good moisturizer (coconut oil) :)

The dead sea mask that Marleen posted is the one I mentioned, I love that one as well. The starfruit paper mask is also pretty good. You don't even have to rinse it, it's a serum basically so you can just pat the excess into the skin and apply moisturizer after. The only downside is it's pretty big and doesn't fit my face so well lol. But it feels very nice and helps control oil.
