You can put garlic in your basecoat, leave it alone for about a week and then apply it; that should help. To moisturize your cuticles, any good hand cream will work. L'occitane, Soap and Glory, Burt's Bees, Weleda, Nivea...they all do great ones. Apply them often and well. Every night before bed at the very least.

For your cuticles you can use cuticle oil and petroluem jelly not mixed those are two seperate ideas and for your actual nails you can get regular manicure hope I helped💅

Petroleum jelly won't do anything unless your cuticles are already moisturized. It's not a moisturizer, it's a sealer, so if your cuticles are dry, all it's going to do is prevent more moisture from penetrating your skin. Cuticle oils are great though.

I think it will be more easy for you to get a european manicure (manicure and pushing cuticle instead of classic cut) at salon first, and then just to maintain the nails using the tips above.
