Big Or Small Pores?

I know everyone has them but how do you know if you have big or small ones? Also what do they look like,I know its weird but people say I can see my pores and it confuses me?

You can just see them more and with small pores the faced looks more smooth. Like this photo.

Oh thank you,I sort of knew what they were I just did not get what people meant when they could see them now to see what I have haha.
