Hey Hannah! What moisturizer did you use?

Amanda, if you look at my haul, I got the Origins charcoal mask :) but I'll try the Freeman's one next time I run out! And Taylor, I'm completely in love with the Burt's Bees wipes!! They're great. They have a normal and a sensitive formula, and I feel like I don't need to rub my eyes to get all of my makeup off. They're gentle, don't burn, they're hypoallergenic, and as a bonus they smell good (seriously, my boyfriend comments). They work really well for me :)

I'm thinking my makeup remover might be reacting weird with my moisturizer. It's not like terrible burning or anything, but it's definitely not good lol. What are those makeup remover wipes you always rave about? :)

It's totally related to my review :) I'm not sure as right now, because I also used a dark spot corrector that I use sometimes and that could have been the cause of the reaction. I'm not sure that this means it's too harsh, but it might mean that in conjunction with the other products it doesn't work. Like I said, I had no visible reaction, so I don't think it's a big problem. I'll probably try again next week to find out for sure :)

If a moisturizer burns after applying a new product or using a new makeup remover, does that mean the new product is too harsh? I know it's not really related to your review but you mentioned it & I thought I'd ask :)

So, I got these face masks in a haul today, and I decided to do one tonight and review it for you guys. Supposedly the charcoal and the heating elements of the mask are supposed to work together to warm your skin so that the pores will open and the charcoal can draw all of the gunk out.
First of all, I love the packaging, because they come individually packaged in single use packets. That's perfect for me because I feel like I'm always using too much or too little, but with this I know it's right.
So the instructions are as follows: wet your face, apply the mask, massage for one minute, and then rinse. Let me just say, when they say heat, they mean it. Not in a "my skin is burning off" kind of way, but in a very soothing way that lets you know the product is working. It feels sort of grainy in texture because of the charcoal, but that's nice as well. It also doesn't have a strong scent, which I think is niceWhen I rinsed it off, my skin felt smooth, none of the whiteheads that I normally notice around mu nose area were there, and my skin looked all around healthy. It also felt cool, and tingled a bit like the blood was flowing and the mask stimulated my skin. I will say that my skin felt very dry after about 5 minutes, so I had to wash my face and apply my night moisturizer, but I don't mind that. What I minded was the fact that my moisturizer stung a little tiny bit afterwards. Not horribly, and it didn't cause any redness or irritation, but I'd be careful of what you use this with.
Overall, not a bad product. I wouldn't give it a glowing recommendation if you have dry skin like I do, as it seems to exacerbate that, but if you're oily or acne prone, this will probably work well for you.
