Ok! So I just started using an all Origins skin care regime.
Cleanser: Origins checks and balances
Moisturizer: Origins ginzing moisturizer
Mask: origins clear improvement mask
Eye cream: origins
Night cream: origins night a mins

I used it for a full day and I just didn't like what it did. I started getting tiny breakouts from the eye cream and few bumps all over.

Now my question is... Should I discontinue using these or is this simply purging and I should give it time? Let me know!

**also, if you've used any of these products, let me know how it worked for you. If not, please feel free to recommend any other products.

Thanks!!☺️

It's pretty normal to break out initially with any new products because your skin is getting used to it and if it has any exfoliating ingredients then it could be revealing things under the surface of the skin that were there but not as noticeable without proper exfoliation - that said I usually give a skin care product at least a week or two for my skin to adapt to it - but depending on your skin type it could take 4-6 weeks to really get used to it - I would just use it once every other day for 2 weeks and see how it goes - if you still don't like it then at that point you can stop if you really don't see much improvement but it's hard to really tell what exactly is the cause especially when you introduce a lot of new products at once - I usually introduce one new thing at a time and test that out first by itself to see how my skin reacts before adding more new things to my regimen - anyways hope it all works out for you!

Unless the product has strong actives like a high % of retinol, vitamin C, or a chemical exfoliant, I wouldn't expect it to cause immediate breakouts. There is an adjustment/purging period sometimes, but I don't consider it to be a general rule of thumb that new products will take "adjusting" to unless there's actually something worth adjusting to.

It's likely there's something in the product that's irritating your skin, which isn't entirely surprising given that Origins loves to load their products up with fragrance and plant extracts that are questionable for the skin at best.
