I really like to get as close as possible to my eyelashes, and then I just apply it, if you put on plenty of mascara you will barely notice any mess ups!

Michelle Phan has a few. I suggest getting a thin felt tipped liner that you can wipe off easily. Then tilt your chin so you can smooth the eye a little. Rotate your hand so it's horizontal to the floor, and start in the middle, really close to the lash line.

Put it on before maskara and do it almost on your eyelashes so you get it close to your lashline

Hold the pencil on its side, you'll have more control. Practice holding it on the back of your hand, you'll see what I mean:) Warm it up by rubbing on the back of your hand, or if it's really hard, a quick blast from your hairdryer will soften it. Make sure it's not hot before you put it on your eyes! Some pencils cause irritation, it might just be the brand. Use scotch tape at an angle on the edge of your eyes to help with the cat eye. Stick the tape to the back of your hand a few times so it's not too sticky. Now you'll have a sharp line! Just practice and good luck and have fun!:D.

If the pencil is making your eyes puff up, I'd suggest to stop using it and trying a different one, you might be allergic to it or its hurting your eyes try getting a different one, I'd suggest you getting a gel liner its easier to work with in my opinion
