My hair is natural and has a kinky curl pattern. I usually have braids put in most of the time but at the moment am rocking a fro. The first day after washing I put in a leave-in conditioner and it looks great but after day 2 it becomes really dry and frizzy even when I moisturize daily. Am avoiding over-braiding and heat styling but its getting difficult to maintain. What should I do about it and how do you guys maintain your natural hair when you have no braids or weaves installed?

I use the Organix Macadamia Oil Mask to rejuvenate my hair and bring back the silkiness. I shampoo and condition my hair and then put the mask on for about 3 hours with a plastic cap on and then I rinse it out, and my hair is silky smooth. You can get the mask at Walgreens, CVS, or Target. Hope this helps love!

Thanks Troi, a've never tried a mask before so I think I will get to doing that. Although I don't live in the US so hopefully I can get a good mask around where I live.

You sound like you don't use heat in your so it's best if after you condition your hair that you moisturize it and make big thick braids so it will not get frizzy or knots. Then go over it with oil. Do this at night if you want to take it off the next day but it's best if you keep them in longer. The braids don't take long you just need to do like four or six big ones.
