I'm 13 and well I don't wear makeup because I just don't for some reason lol. I seriously don't know why, but my mom never really told me no. She started wearing makeup for going out not necessarily everyday at 13.
Lots of my friends started wearing makeup!

I started wearing makeup at 12 or so but before that I was so afraid my mom was going to say no I his it from her for a while. My mom has never worn makeup in her life and just looks naturally beautiful. She always said I looked better without it but never said I couldn't wear it. Now I'm grown up and moved out and she still tells me I'm wearing too much makeup when I see her :)

Yes I am. but my dad doesn't like me wearing lipstick. and personally I like a natural look on my self, I just wear foundation and stuff to cover acne. I don't wear blush, eye makeup, or lipsticks. I'm 15. I started this around 13ush.

I'm 17 and I've been wearing makeup since I was about 12 or 13. Of course I would play with makeup and such, but I didn't start wearing it regularly until then. :)

I have the most makeup in the house and both my parents do not like me wearing makeup saying it ruins my skin face etc. and am 23. at first they didn't let me but I still apply makeup especially when I go out or was at my internship etc.. makeup is needed to look good since I mingled with many people

I think all parents don't really want there children to wear makeup, because it makes you look more grownup. And every parent wants their kids to stay little forever am I right!!? So I understand why your mom said no Sara. How old are you?!

I can't remember when I started wearing makeup but I don't ever remember being told not to wear it, I'm 25 now and a beauty therapist so it's my job :)

I was never really told I couldn't, but I also wasn't that interested in it. I wore lipgloss for what felt like ever, but didn't buy lipstick until I was 20. I had an eyeshadow palette when I was 16 from Hot Topic and my mom didn't say anything about it. At the same time that was all I owned plus an eyeliner, and I only wore them once in a blue moon. I didn't really get into makeup heavily until I was 20 (last year) and I still don't even wear it every day.

I started wearing concealer in 7th grade but only because I had bad acne scars. I also wore mascara I'm a senior in highschool now and I wear foundation, mascara and eyeliner sometimes eyeshadow and lipstick but not often :)
